“Online sales are continuing to grow as consumers increasingly move their shopping online,” Adam Bullock, director at TopCashback.co.uk, was reported by the Express as saying.

GoCompare Credit Cards’ ‘Black Friday Shopping Study’ reported that 17 per cent of consumers will shop on their handheld devices this year – compared with nine per cent who did so in 2017.

It estimated that as much as £4.5 billion will be spent in this year’s Black Friday, with each household expected to purchase £165 worth of goods.
